Over a year ago, three "white" students at Duke University were accused of having gang-raped a "black stripper". Charges were laid. Although the District Attorney had no evidence to back-up the charges, and although he had evidence that the alleged victim had lied and had not been raped by the three men, he persisted with the prosecution. He was up for re-election in November of 2006. Forty percent of the electorate in Durham are "black". In December of 2006, he dropped the charges. On April 16, 2007, FP leader Paul McKeever discussed this issue as a guest of Christine Williams' "On the Line" television programme (CTS).
